Frequently Asked Questions We know you probably have lots of questions. We've tried to answer a few of the usual ones. Please feel free to contact us by e-mail via the contact page. 1. Question: Whats my domain name ? We provide all of our clients with a basic website address, this is called a "sub-domain" and for example would take the form of www.therapy.cobwebhealer.com or www.homeopath.cobwebhealer.com. You can choose the name name between the www. and .cobwebhealer.com. Alternatively we can purchase a separate domain name eg www.homeopathdirect.com. We recommend this, the additional charge is relatively small please see the prices list. 2. Question: How many pages can my website have ? Up to 15, this is plenty for most. If you need more we can provide them for no extra charge (we just need to know!) 3. Question: Can I enter links to other websites ? Absolutely, you simply type in the address of the site eg www.cobwebhosts.com and this is recognised as being a web address. 4. Question: Can you manage my website for me ? We can do this if you want, unfortunately we need to make a charge for this though. Typically we find most clients want to manage their own content as most changes can be made very quickly using the administrator functions we provide. 5. Question: Can I make a back up of my site ? The administration section allows you to take a back up and download it (as a single file) to your own computer. You can restore this to your website at a later date if necessary. We recommend you take a back up before making major changes to your website or once every 3 months or so. In addition we also take backups but these typically take longer to restore.
